Academics

True education means more than pursuing a certain course of study. It has to do with the whole person, and with the whole period of existence possible to human beings. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers.

A teacher is considered to be the epitome of patience and perseverance. And rightly so, because each child is uniquely wired and comes with different needs and abilities. If a child does not respond positively to a certain task, we do not give up. We alter our methods to tailor-fit the child’s needs thus helping him to cope up with the academic requirements.

The various experiences at the school help our children grow in confidence and help shape their future:

  • Thorough practice and drill in academics
  • Overcoming physical challenges through sports drills and practice and developing a positive sportsman spirit.
  • Fostering leadership qualities among students and the ability to work in cooperation in a team.
  • Overcoming “stage fright” through opportunities provided during school assemblies and developing the ability to speak or express oneself in front of an audience.

Syllabus & Curriculum

The medium of Instruction for all classes is English. Also English is taught as First Language in all the classes. The school offers a well researched Child Centric Curriculum. The ICSE syllabus is offered from L.K.G to VII Std (Will be Upgraded to other classes) and State Syllabus from STD VIII to STD X.

The Pre-Primary section follows Chrysalis Curriculum, which is a transformational school curriculum, intended for progressive schools to create a learning environment that delivers quality holistic education to suit the 21st century needs. It beautifully incorporates well-established pedagogic elements such as Multiple Intelligences, Blooms Taxonomy (Higher Order Thinking), Experiential Learning (Project/Activity based learning), Constructivism (Teaching Methodology) and Societal Thinking (Values, Social   Environmental Consciousness)

The Four Facets of Thinking – Chrysalis’ trademark feature that encourages every child to Look Deep, Look Within, Look Beyond and Look Around making creative and critical thinking visible in classrooms.
