Facilities

Transport is an optional facility offered by the school to children. The buses are owned and run by the school itself. The school takes every possible precaution to see that the children travel safely to school and back. Each bus has a female support staff in addition to the conductor and driver to ensure safe passage. The drivers are carefully selected for their cautious driving. In any case speed governors and GPS have been fitted in each vehicle for utmost safety. The buses are company models designed to carry school children.

A powerhouse of knowledge. The school has well established Library, which is being used by both Primary and High school. A wide range of books, magazines, journals, encyclopedias, atlas, reference books, fiction, comics and various other books are well arranged and maintained. The library also has a news stand where children interested brief through the current events.
The pre-primary has an exclusive library of its own, where age appropriate books are housed and given to the children during the class hours.

The library equips students with a life-long learning habit helps develop imagination in their Young Minds. Comfortable furniture, pindrop silence and a cheerful librarian ever willing to help and guide the reader, provide a conducive environment to read, think and learn effectively.

Theory is incomplete without practical. One needs to completely get involved in the various practical experiments whether be it Chemistry, Biology or Physics to get a thorough knowledge and understanding of what had been taught in the theory class.

Learning by doing is the most effective way of learning. The school boasts of a Science and Computer lab where practical classes are conducted. The learning of Computers and Science is made interesting and fun-filled through these labs. A well-equipped Computer lab provides each student with access to a computer where the student gets a ‘hands-on’ training in the basics of Computer Science.
CGPS aims to ensure that every student strengthens his / her knowledge of theory with lively practicals which will be remembered for ever.

At the end of the day, a school will be judged by what happens inside the classroom. And in the long run, a school’s real test lies in what the student takes away from the classroom. Well, CGPS is proud to be associated with Educomp Smartclass, a class transformation system for every classroom, which brings technology into the classroom with an exhaustive repository of world class digital modules or lessons, (consisting of 2D and 3D animations, graphics, audio and video) on every subject in the K12 spectrum, which the teacher could easily access and project in the classroom that illuminates and explains abstract and difficult concepts with liquid clarity.

With the utilization of Smartclass, the results were amazing. Knowledge flourished.. freed from the centuries old bonds of books and chalk and blackboard. A new light of understanding dawned on young awakened minds. And the classroom became a fascinating place to be in as a new generation of learners saw (instead of just being told and explained) for the first time how things happened.

The school building has unique architecture with spacious classrooms, Labs, Library, a big auditorium, a big playground, an excellent kinder play area, clean bathrooms and clean drinking water facilities. The school campus is a secure haven made possible by CCTV cameras located at all strategic nooks and corners. It spans even beyond the concrete infrastructure. With the Go Green initiative, the school has also setup a rainwater harvesting system.
