Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
The Annual Sports Day is a much awaited event of the school. Parents turn out in huge numbers to cheer for their children. The students enter into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the special guest of the day, and an impressive March Past by the chool students.
A peppy dance drill and energizing exercise drill sets the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began, the air is filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of classes 1 to 5 compete class-wise in events including sprints, sack races, obstacle races and three legged races. Fun time with a shoe race and a tug- of- war between the teachers and parents add to the enjoyment. The last event, Sports Display, showcase the skills and exercises practiced by our young sports enthusiasts every day. The day ends with our guest congratulating the winners with medals and certificates.
